Regarding this, our esteemed Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated:

If someone prays at night, reciting a hundred verses, they will be recorded as obedient to Allah. Additionally, those who pray at night, reciting one thousand verses, will be recorded among those who receive huge rewards. [Hadith | Sahih Al-Albani]”

Islam places a high value on teaching children the Qur’an. Therefore, Muslims must see how their kids learn to recite the Holy Quran. In the words of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH):

Since no one can alter the inspired words of Allah (SWT) in the Quran, it remains pure and untouched by additions, deletions, or changes. In the Quran, Allah (SWT) stated:

Indeed, We sent down the Qur’an, and certainly, We will be its guardian. [Holy Quran | 15:9]

6. Performing The Quran initiates communication with Allah (SWT), purifies the heart, and provides comfort to the Spirit

You can communicate with Allah Almighty in two ways: by praying and by reading the Quran. For example, consider reciting Al-Fatihah, the first chapter of the Quran. Allah has made it a kind, loving dialogue between himself and the worshipper rather than a lifeless monologue by the believer who recites it. In the words of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH):

“Allah said: ‘I have divided the prayer between Myself and My slave into two halves, and My slave shall have what he has asked for.’ When the enslaved person says: ‘All the praise is to Allah, the Lord of all that exists,’ Allah says:’My enslaved person has praised Me, and My slave shall have what he has asked for.’ And when he says: ‘The Mos Gracious, the Most Merciful,’ Allah says: ‘My slave has extolled Me, and My slave shall have what he has asked for.’ And when he says: ‘The Only Owner,’ Allah says: ‘My slave has Glorified Me. This is for Me, and this Verse is between me and My slave in two halves.’ And when he says: ‘You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help,’ He says: ‘This is between Me and My slave, and My slave shall have what he has asked for.’ And the end of the Surah is for My slave.’ And when he says: ‘Guide us to the Straight Way, the way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not(the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray,’ He says: ‘This is for My slave, and My slave shall have what he has asked for.” [Hadith | Sahih Darussalam]

Understanding-filled Quran recitation cleanses the heart of sin and releases pressure from the soul in Muslims. Says Allah (SWT):

He has succeeded who purifies it (The Soul), And he has failed who instills it [with corruption]. [Holy Quran | 91:9-10]

Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines. Our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated as much when he said:

Indeed, the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. As for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering, or stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward. [Hadith | Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

10. Gaining Great Virtues from Memorising the Quran

Allaah will greatly honor and reward the person who memorizes the Qur’an and follows its teachings. This person will gain a position in Paradise that corresponds to the knowledge they have retained from the book of Allah. Muhammad, the prophet (PBUH), said:

One devoted to the Qur’an will be told to recite, ascend, and recite carefully as he recited carefully when he was in the world, for he will reach his abode when he comes to the last VVerse he recites. [Hadith | Al-Albani]
